This site is here to give you some idea about me (Brian Roberts) - my working background, what I have done, what I like doing, etc.. I hope you find the site informative and helpful - I welcome feedback so if you have any comments please let me know - e-mails to brian@brian-roberts.com I would like this web site to form the basis of my CV and hopefully it proves to be less bland than many CV's that you may have seen. The great advantage is, that here at my site, I have the opportunity to demonstrate my skills in a practical way providing you with real physical examples of work I have personally created. I've included a section on practical things to do with data analysis and manipulation, some of which I hope can be useful to you. For ethical reasons I am not able to provide examples of real work produced in my professional capacity but I can show you generic examples. In a number of cases I have used stock market data as a useful substitute data source upon which to base the analysis.The examples are fairly contempory and reflect what I have been involved with over the last 2 years. |
